Procedures of Physical Check-up and Health  Validation for International Students

                                                                 (Revised in June 2019)

 

1.    International Student Required of Physical Check-up and Health Validation.

 

1)    The international student who enters China with an X1 Visa, applying for Residence Permit for the first time;

2)    The international student who enters China with an X2 Visa and who has been studying in China consecutively for more than six months;

3)    The international student who has applied for the extension of his Residence Permit, the duration of the validity of his most recent Residence Permit between the expiry date till the date of this application having surpassed three months.

 

2.    Required Documents for Physical Check-up

 

1)    Passport (original) and one photocopy of the passport;

2)    One photocopy of the Visa page;

3)    Four 2-inch color ID photos (passport photos);

4)    Original ‘Letter of Admission’ for the freshman and one photocopy of the ‘Letter of Admission; and one photocopy of the Campus Card for the registered student;

5)    Original official health report (including all the original lab test reports and X-ray radiographies) for the student having had his physical exam in his own country;

6)    Physical check-up fee: about RMB600 (reduction or exemption to be decided by the check-up institution on the basis of the materials used).

4.    Entry of Carriers of the Following Diseases Refused by the Chinese Government:

 

1)    Serious mental disorders;

2)    Infectious tuberculosis;

3)    Other infectious diseases that may cause serious harm to the public health.
