Program Modules

1. Chinese Language Course

Intensive Chinese language courses that will significantly improve your communication skills needed to function efficiently and effectively in social settings. The four language skills -listening, speaking, reading, and writing - are taught in a friendly and positive Chinese-speaking environment, including the extensive use of textbooks and audio-visual materials.

Four skill levels are offered

- Elementary level

- Beginners’ level

- Intermediate level

- Advanced level

* 10 students min for each level. 

2. Chinese Culture & Art Workshop

Chinese culture workshops on Chinese tea, Han Chinese clothing (Hanfu), paper-cutting, perfumed medicine pouch. You will have the opportunity to better understand the history, techniques of Chinese traditional culture and art, and create your own handcraft work.

3. Field Trip & Company Visit

Field trips to Wuzhen water town, Suzhou city. You are able to explore the traditional glamour of China.

Company visit to gain insights into how the company operates as well as its history, markets, and strategy. 

4. Chinese Corner

Oral Chinese practice with SUFE students share your stories and deepen mutual understanding. 

5. HSK Mock Test

HSK mock test at the beginning and the end of the program, which will help you understand how the real HSK test is structured and formatted, how you have made progress during the summer program.

Accommodation

Two participants will share a comfortable twin room in a hotel 15 minutes’ walk from ICES SUFE, and 5 minutes’ walk from Jiangwan Town station, Metro Line 3.

Check out application eligibility. The applicant must be:

non-Chinese citizen with a passport (valid beyond 30^th August 2023),

18-60 years old, in good health

and completed high school or above

After Applying

1. Accept your offer for admission

2. Apply for visa after receiving the admission package.
