Application Requirements (2023 Fall Entry)
General
In order to be considered for admission, you must:
be a non-Chinese citizen, 18-45 years old, in good health, AND
have completed senior high school education or will receive by the summer before matriculation at SUFE in September 2023, a high school diploma.
* An applicant, who has acquired foreign nationality by birth but has studied at Chinese primary and secondary schools and has at least one parent who is Chinese, or who has immigrated from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan to another country, should meet the requirements in “Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC” (http://www.moe.gov.cn/srcsite/A20/moe_850/202006/t20200609_464159.html)
Chinese Language Proficiency
Chinese is the language of instruction when you come to study undergraduate programs at SUFE. Your lectures, tutorials, exams, class discussions and thesis writing will be in Chinese. Given this, an adequate level of proficiency in Chinese must be demonstrated for admission.

* The HSK score is valid for two years from the test date.

An applicant for written exam exemption should offer any of the following credentials.

Malaysia Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) | A good pass (B4) in at least 5 subjects of which at least one A1/A2 |
Thailand O-NET | A total score of at least 300 in 5 subjects |
Any other not listed (Will evaluate on a case-by-case basis) | Good passes in national/regional high school graduation exam or college entrance exam, certificate of working on or having graduated from an undergraduate program |
